·Fuel additive and propellant. Cellulosic compound solvent. Intermediate for nitro and amino alcohols. (tdb)
·Slightly soluble in water, alcohol and alkali solution. When solved in water, its solution show acid reaction. It can be mixed and solved with many kinds of organic solvents. It's vapour, when combined with air to form an explosive mixture. The inferior limit of explosion of which is 7.3%(By volume). Combustible and poisonous.
